Sometimes I fall into a 'makeup rut' where I use the same products over and over again simply out of convenience and lack of creativity. The colours in this quad, though basic, can be used in different ways to create some really cool looks, helping me 'keep it fresh' ;)
This post is what I wear to school and work (when I'm in the eye shadow type of mood). The lighting here is a bit dodgy (UK Girls, did I use that word correctly!?) but I hope you like the post regardless! :) What do you use everyday?
L'Oreal studio secrets eyeshadow quad in forest smokes: I use the dark brown to line my eyes, the gold as a lid colour and the creamy shade as a highlight. |
I never use the dark green colour, I find the glitter makes it hard to wear. |
Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara: I've been using this since July and LOVE it! |
Just mascara. |
Final look: mascara & eyeshadow. |
Haha, yes you did use 'dodgy' correctly :) But your pictures look fine! I used UD Naked palette everyday -- love a neutral eye! Great post x
ReplyDeleteI get in a makeup rut too! I just picked up this palette at Target for only a $1.00. I couldn't pass up that price. I will try to recreate your look. (:
ReplyDeleteOh cool *.*
DeleteI love how your lashes look, so natural and pretty!

DeleteLove that palette! Regarding the 2 in1 wash - I haven't used it recently but I can't remember it irritating my sensitive skin :D x
ReplyDeleteOk, good to keep in mind :)
Deletei've tried, but i can't seem to get myself to wear non neutral colors. it looks beautiful on you though.

Aha, thank you!
Deletegreat mascara! followed you, hope you can follow back! http://xxxloveisbeautyxxx.blogspot.ie/
ReplyDeleteThanks, I will check it out soon.
DeleteReally pretty! Very subtle and light makeup that I'd know I would wear to school as it's coming up! The quad looks really nice - I don't really own any green shadows, but a dark forest green would look really pretty for fall and winter - I'll have to get on that!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely good for school! Yes, maybe I will use it in upcoming months!
DeleteSuch a pretty subtle look, I can see what you wear this everyday :) Your eyes are so beautiful btw!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I never knew dodgy was a British word! You learn something everyday lol x

Thanks Evelyn! Ohhh yes-dodgy is stereotypically british (here in Canada) :P
DeleteWhat a pretty palette! Your eyes are gorgeous x
